|
||
简单的说，Blueprint可以对服务器进行“反向工程”。它扫描您的系统，记录下通过包管理器（aptitude，ruby 的 gem，python 的 pip）安装的，和自源代码编译安装的软件，并记下配置文件的变更。最后将您整个服务器的配置打包成一个 ``bootstrap.sh`` 文件和一个压缩包。通过者两个文件，您可以在任何服务器上精确地复制服务器配置。

此外，Blueprint 更进一步，它还可以通过 ``blueprint-create {-C | -P}`` 命令生成 `Chef <https://github.com/opscode/chef>`_ 和 `Puppet <https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppet>`_ 格式的自动配置脚本。
|
||
|
||
虽然最终生成的自动配置脚本的质量还需优化，但毫无疑问的是 Blueprint 是您平滑迁移现有系统的首选工具之一。
