Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes, 67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer. - scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault: slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion list plus a privacy guard. - tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note (capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other pages get a Related Knowledge block. - Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

Flam Drag
Where the flam family shakes hands with the drags.
The Rudiment
The flam drag is the bridge between the two great grace-note families. Inside a single triplet it packs a flam, a drag, and a plain stroke: the flam widens the downbeat, the drag adds its two-grace-note buzz to the middle note, and a clean single closes the group. It is the moment the flam vocabulary and the drag vocabulary meet in one figure, which is why it sits at the end of the flam rudiments and points straight into the drags that follow.
Sticking
The flam drag is played as a triplet — flam, drag, single — alternating leads: lR rrL R for the first group and rL llR L for the second. The lowercase pair before the second note is the drag (two grace notes), while the single lowercase before the first note is the flam’s grace. The flam carries the accent on the beat; the drag and closing stroke follow within the triplet. Because printed stickings differ, trust the three-part shape — flam, drag, note — over any one count.
How to Play
This rudiment asks the hands to switch grace-note modes on the fly: a single soft grace for the flam, then two quick low grace notes for the drag, all inside one triplet. Keep both sets of grace notes down near the head and consistently quiet so the accented flam stays on top, and practice the drag as a controlled double rather than a loose buzz. Slow, deliberate reps are the way in — the coordination is trickier than the sound suggests.
In Practice
The flam drag turns up in rudimental solos as a compact, ornamented triplet and makes an effective drum-set fill when its three voices are spread across drums. More than a performance staple, it is a teaching rudiment — the natural hinge between mastering flams and taking on the drag family.
