Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes, 67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer. - scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault: slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion list plus a privacy guard. - tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note (capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other pages get a Related Knowledge block. - Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

New Moon · 🌑
Everything begins in the dark.
At the New Moon, the Moon stands conjunct the Sun and shows the Earth nothing at all. The sky's most reliable light simply isn't there — and the tradition reads this not as absence but as conception. The month's seed is planted now, invisibly, the way all real beginnings are invisible: a resolution made privately, a first line written for no one, a cell dividing in the dark.
This is Hecate's hour — the dark of the moon was hers before the calendar had names for it, the threshold moment when the old cycle has fully died and the new one hasn't yet declared itself. It shares her character: porous, uncertain, and unusually permeable to what usually stays hidden. The counsel of the phase is to set intention rather than take action — name what the month is for, and then let it germinate. Action belongs to the First Quarter; the New Moon's work is done with eyes closed.
Anything begun now inherits the phase's signature: quiet starts, unwitnessed commitments, projects that need darkness before they can bear light.
