I figured I would stick with the 1.0 series so that it will be a relatively painless conversion to Django 1.3, but I can't figure out how to make it work with apps the haven't moved to the new static/ layout (as opposed to media/). STATICFILES_MEDIA_DIRNAMES used to be a backup to allow this, but this setting has been purged from what I can tell. Is this really lose/lose? Am I stuck on staticfiles 0.3 (which makes the 1.3 switch more annoying) until every single app I use moves to the new layout?
