For instance, if Luke Skywalker hadn't changed, it would have been more of a \"Bad\" ending.  But in \"Drag Me to Hell\", the girl changes in the appropriate way but it still ends up very badly.  You can also say the same about the correlation between Success/Failure and Good/Bad, in that sometimes the two dynamics are directly tied together (e.g. \"Success\" is inevitably tied to \"Good\"), sometimes they are inversely related (e.g. \"Success\" necessarily leads to \"Bad\"), sometimes they have no correlation whatsoever, and sometimes they \"influence\" the other on some gray scale.
