Middleman being static, I was planning on using a service like Wufoo to drop in whatever forms were needed for data collection. I then noticed form helpers included in the docs under Template Helpers (http://middlemanapp.com/guides/helpers), and while it makes sense to include them, it got me wondering if there was an approach to forms in Middleman I was missing, or what solutions people have come up with in the past.", "group_id": 10410, "id": 2661737}, {"user_id": 43808, "stars": [], "topic_id": 48228, "date_created": 1322522727.3060329, "message": "Any thoughts are definitely appreciated!", "group_id": 10410, "id": 2661738}, {"user_id": 7586, "stars": [], "topic_id": 48228, "date_created": 1322545069.4032171, "message": "The form helpers are basically just to speed up prototyping a site with some forms. You output static and hand it over to a backend team for implementation. There isn't actually a backend with Middleman, so any form would be non-functional unless you used a 3rd party solution like Wufoo.", "group_id": 10410, "id": 2663726}, {"user_id": 43808, "stars": [], "topic_id": 48228, "date_created": 1322547592.5260739, "message": "Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything, or any solution that wasn't obvious or I might have missed.
