Try this: take the internet \"in-cable\" that goes into your wifi router and plug it straight into your laptop - don't make a wired connection to your wifi router - I mean take the main internet cable that goes into your router and plug it straight into your computer instead. If you do that then you bypass your router completely and, in geek terminology, you don't have synchronous NAT. It worked for me.
