kennethreitz ce93f429a2 Add Knowledge: the vault's reference shelf, crosslinked across the site
Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes,
67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer.

- scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault:
slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site
links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables
rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion
  list plus a privacy guard.
- tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and
aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note
(capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages
list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other
pages get a Related Knowledge block.
- Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never
displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid
diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

# Pyrite
> *Not the gold you were looking for — the gold you needed.*
---
## The Stone
Pyrite is iron and sulphur crystallised into a metallic brass-gold so convincing it has fooled prospectors for centuries, earning the nickname “fool’s gold.” But nature outdoes the goldsmith here: pyrite grows in astonishing forms — flawless cubes with faces so flat and edges so sharp they look machined, or radiant clusters of glinting facets. Its lustre is a hard, mirror-bright metallic shine, cooler and greyer than true gold, and struck against steel it throws sparks, which is how it got its name from the Greek for fire.
There is a satisfying solidity to it. The cubes especially feel like objects from another order of reality — as though the earth had decided to do geometry, and show off while it was at it.
## Correspondences
| Attribute | Value |

| Colour | Metallic gold |
| Chakra | Solar Plexus ([Manipura](/knowledge/chakras/manipura)) |
| Element | Fire / Earth |
| Planet / Zodiac | Sun, Mars / Leo |
| Hardness (Mohs) | 6–6.5 |
## Properties
Pyrite is the stone of abundance and willpower — a magnet for prosperity and the drive to earn it. Its golden fire feeds the solar plexus, kindling confidence, ambition, and the momentum to see a thing through. It is turned to for wealth in the practical sense: not luck falling from the sky but the energy, focus and self-belief to build. It is also strongly protective, a reflective shield that turns negativity and ill intent back on itself, guarding the wearer’s energy while they work.
## In Practice
It is often kept in the workspace, the cash drawer or the wealth corner of a home as a talisman for prosperity and productive effort. Held over the solar plexus in meditation, it stokes willpower and burns off self-doubt before a demanding task. Because its iron content will rust and its sulphur dislikes damp, it is kept dry and cleansed by non-water means.
