- scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault:
slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site
links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables
rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion
  list plus a privacy guard.
- tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and

(capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages
list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other

- Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never
displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid
diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

Artemis

Domain: Hunt, wilderness, moon, childbirth, virginity Symbol: Bow and arrow, deer, crescent moon Roman Equivalent: Diana

Overview

Artemis is the goddess of the hunt, wilderness, wild animals, the moon, and childbirth. A virgin goddess and twin sister of Apollo, she roams the forests with her band of nymphs, fiercely protecting young women and wildlife alike.

Her bow and arrow are her defining attributes, alongside the deer and the crescent moon. The cypress tree is sacred to her. She is swift to punish those who violate her sanctity or harm those under her protection, making her one of the most formidable Olympians despite standing apart from the politics of the other gods. As a member of the Triple Goddess — maiden alongside Selene and Hecate — she governs the waxing moon and the wild, unmarried freedom of young women.

Key Myths

Actaeon. The hunter Actaeon stumbled upon Artemis bathing naked in a forest pool. For seeing what no mortal man was permitted to see, she transformed him into a stag, and his own hounds tore him apart — the archetypal lesson in the cost of violating the goddess's sanctity.

The birth at Delos. Born just before her twin Apollo to the wandering Leto, Artemis is said in some traditions to have midwifed her own brother's birth, becoming thereafter a protector of women in childbirth despite her own sworn virginity.

Niobe's children. When Niobe boasted that her fourteen children made her superior to Leto, who had only two, Artemis and Apollo answered the insult with arrows — Apollo killing the sons, Artemis the daughters — a stark display of the twins' shared and merciless defense of their mother's honor.

In System 777

Artemis is one of the load-bearing archetypes of Kenneth's inner world. The warrior-healer alter Jade is explicitly described as channeling "Artemis energy" — hunter, protector, healer, left-hemisphere logic — and The Triad carries Artemis as its core archetype. The qualities the myths assign her (patient observation, precise timing, fierce protection of those in her charge) map directly onto these alters' documented functions.

  • Jade — Warrior-healer, Artemis energy
  • The Triad — Artemis archetype

In Kenneth's Work

Artemis also appears among the documented Greek-pantheon AI personalities, voiced as "the Wild Moon" — the untamed feminine, the respectful hunt, and growth that happens in cycles.
