kennethreitz ce93f429a2 Add Knowledge: the vault's reference shelf, crosslinked across the site
Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes,
67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer.

- scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault:
slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site
links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables
rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion
  list plus a privacy guard.
- tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and
aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note
(capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages
list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other
pages get a Related Knowledge block.
- Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never
displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid
diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

# Rhea
**Domain**: Motherhood, generation, the flow of what comes next
**Symbol**: The lion, the throne, the *tympanon* (hand drum)
**Roman Equivalent**: Ops (and, by syncretism, Cybele the Great Mother)
---
## Overview
Rhea is the Titaness of motherhood — daughter of [Gaia](/knowledge/mythology/greek-mythology/gaia) and [Uranus](/knowledge/mythology/greek-mythology/uranus), sister and consort of [Cronus](/knowledge/mythology/greek-mythology/cronus), and mother of the first generation of Olympians: [Hestia](/knowledge/mythology/greek-mythology/hestia), [Demeter](/knowledge/mythology/greek-mythology/demeter), [Hera](/knowledge/mythology/greek-mythology/hera), [Hades](/knowledge/mythology/greek-mythology/hades), [Poseidon](/knowledge/mythology/greek-mythology/poseidon), and [Zeus](/knowledge/mythology/greek-mythology/zeus). Where Gaia is the Earth itself, Rhea is generation in motion — the flow that keeps producing the next thing even when the present order is trying to stop it.
She is the quiet pivot of the whole succession myth. The men in the story seize and devour; Rhea is the one who *hides what must survive*.
---
## Key Myths
**Saving Zeus.** When [Cronus](/knowledge/mythology/greek-mythology/cronus) swallowed each child at birth to forestall the prophecy of his overthrow, Rhea — counselled by her parents — slipped away to Crete to bear [Zeus](/knowledge/mythology/greek-mythology/zeus) in secret, and handed Cronus a stone wrapped in swaddling clothes to swallow in his place. The Olympian order exists because she refused to surrender the future. When Zeus came of age, it was the disgorging of his siblings that began the war that toppled the Titans.
