kennethreitz ce93f429a2 Add Knowledge: the vault's reference shelf, crosslinked across the site
Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes,
67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer.

- scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault:
slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site
links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables
rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion
  list plus a privacy guard.
- tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and
aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note
(capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages
list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other
pages get a Related Knowledge block.
- Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never
displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid
diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

# Saturn
**Domain**: Time, harvest, agriculture, wealth, the lost Golden Age
**Symbol**: Sickle, scythe, sheaf of grain
**Greek Equivalent**: [Cronus](/knowledge/mythology/greek-mythology/cronus)

## Overview
Saturn is the Roman god of time, harvest, and agriculture — the deity of the sown field and the turning year. In myth he is the father dethroned by [Jupiter](/knowledge/mythology/roman-mythology/jupiter), cast out of heaven; but Rome told a gentler sequel than Greece did. Fleeing to Italy, Saturn was received by [Janus](/knowledge/mythology/roman-mythology/janus) and ruled Latium in the Golden Age, a lost time of plenty and peace when the earth gave freely and no one knew slavery or want. To honor a god of time is to remember that such an age existed and to grieve that it passed.
His great festival, the Saturnalia, opened in mid-December and inverted the social order — masters served slaves, gifts changed hands, and license replaced restraint, a brief return of the Golden Age within the calendar. His temple at the foot of the Capitoline housed the state treasury, marking him as a keeper of wealth as well as of grain and years.
## Differences from Cronus
Greek [Cronus](/knowledge/mythology/greek-mythology/cronus) is chiefly the devouring titan — the father who swallows his children to forestall his own overthrow, an image of time consuming all it makes. Rome kept that shadow but added a redemptive one: the exiled king who founded a paradise. Saturn is therefore double, both the reaper who cuts everything down and the gentle sovereign of the age we long to recover.
His name endures in the planet [Saturn](/knowledge/astrology/planets/saturn-astrology), which carries the same weight — limitation, discipline, time, and the slow accounting of what endures.
