Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes,
67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer.

- scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault:
slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site
links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables
rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion
  list plus a privacy guard.
- tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and
aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note
(capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages
list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other
pages get a Related Knowledge block.
- Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never
displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid
diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

# Merkaba
> *Two tetrahedra locked point against point — the chariot woven out of light.*

## The Form
The Merkaba is the star tetrahedron, two interlocked tetrahedra oriented in opposition, one pointing upward and one downward, interpenetrating so that their apexes and edges cross into a three-dimensional star. It is the solid counterpart of the six-pointed star, the same union of ascending and descending triangles carried into space. One tetrahedron reaches toward the heavens, the other toward the earth, and where they merge they hold a balanced field, a form perfectly poised between above and below, spirit and matter.
Because it is built from the simplest of the Platonic solids doubled and counter-rotated, the Merkaba carries both the sharp initiatory quality of the tetrahedron and the equilibrium of paired opposites. In many teachings the two tetrahedra are imagined as counter-rotating fields of light around the body, spinning in contrary directions to generate a single unified vehicle. The name itself, drawn from ancient tradition, means chariot, and the form is understood as a craft of ascent assembled from pure geometry.
## Correspondences
| Attribute | Value |
|---|---|
| Construction | Two interlocked tetrahedra |
| Orientation | One upward, one downward |
| Root solid | Tetrahedron (Fire) |
| Motion | Counter-rotating fields |
| Symbolism | Light-body, vehicle of ascent |
## Meaning
The Merkaba is understood as the light-body, the vehicle by which consciousness moves between planes. Its interlocked tetrahedra enact the reconciliation of opposites that runs through all sacred geometry — masculine and feminine, ascending and descending, fire and its mirror — brought into a spinning equilibrium that is said to lift the practitioner beyond the ordinary body. The word Merkaba reaches back to the visionary chariot of Jewish mystical tradition, linking the form to the ascent literature associated with [Kabbalah](/knowledge/spirituality/kabbalah) and the throne visions of the prophets. As geometry it is austere, only two of the simplest solids crossed; as symbol it is among the most ambitious, a claim that the right arrangement of form can become a means of transcendence.
