Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes,
67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer.

- scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault:
slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site
links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables
rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion
  list plus a privacy guard.
- tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and
aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note
(capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages
list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other
pages get a Related Knowledge block.
- Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never
displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid
diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

Nine of Wands

Bloodied, bandaged, one wand left in his grip — and still he turns to face the gate.

Imagery

A weary figure stands before a palisade of eight upright wands, gripping a ninth like a staff or a weapon. His head is bandaged, his stance guarded, his eyes narrowed as he glances warily to the side as if watching for one more assault. His weight rests heavily on the wand; he has clearly been through something. The eight wands behind him form a fence — battles already survived, boundaries already set. The composition holds him between what he has endured and what he still fears. The feeling is exhausted vigilance: hurt but unbroken, braced for a final trial.

Upright

The Nine of Wands is resilience, the last reserve of strength summoned when you are already spent. It marks the point in a long struggle where you have taken your wounds and yet refuse to fall — persistence tested to its limit and still holding. This card honours the courage that is not fearless but wounded, the defender who stands guard through fatigue because the thing behind him is worth it. It counsels wariness without paranoia, and it whispers that the trial may be nearly over. The invitation is to draw on the deep well, to hold the line one more time.

Reversed

Reversed, the vigilance curdles. Exhaustion tips into defensiveness that pushes away even help; old wounds keep the guard up long after the danger has passed. It can mark paranoia, burnout, or the stubborn refusal to lay down a fight that is already won. The shadow is the sentry who cannot stand down — so scarred by past battles that he treats every approach as an attack, and so spends his last strength defending against ghosts.

Correspondence

Attribute Value
Element Fire.
Decan Moon in Sagittarius, the second decan of Sagittarius — the Moon's tidal endurance steadying Sagittarius's fire. The Golden Dawn titled this card Great Strength: reserve power, resilience, the strength held in reserve for the final test.

Archetype

This is the wounded warrior, the psyche that has integrated its scars into its strength. Jung understood that we are shaped by what has hurt us, and that the wound itself can become a source of power — the very place where the healer's gift enters. The card embodies endurance drawn from the depths, the reserve of the self that outlasts the ego's exhaustion. It stands close to Strength and to the fortitude of The Hermit, whose inner light survives the long night.

Mythological Echoes

The card carries every battle-scarred hero making a final stand — the veteran who has survived what should have killed him, the wounded king who guards the threshold, the guardian at the last gate. It echoes the myth of the sacred wound, from Chiron's incurable injury to the maimed Fisher King, where the hurt that will not heal becomes the source of an unyielding, hard-won strength.

In Practice

When this card appears, you are tired but closer to the end than you think. Ask whether your guardedness still serves you or has become armour you have forgotten how to remove. Rest is not surrender. Journal on the wound that has, despite everything, made you strong.
