Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes,
67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer.

- scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault:
slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site
links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables
rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion
  list plus a privacy guard.
- tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and
aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note
(capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages
list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other
pages get a Related Knowledge block.
- Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never
displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid
diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

# Queen of Pentacles
> *She tends the coin as she tends the rabbit — as a living thing that grows when it is loved.*
---
## Imagery
A queen sits upon a throne carved with cherubs, fruit, and rams' heads, cradling a golden pentacle in her lap as tenderly as a child. She is surrounded by a lush garden — roses arch overhead, greenery spills around her, and in the lower corner a rabbit, symbol of fertility, hops through the grass. Her gaze rests downward on the coin with maternal warmth. Everything about her is abundant and nurturing, the material world made generous and alive. She is the sovereign of the practical and the sensual, at home in her body, her garden, and her care for everything that grows.
## Upright
The Queen of Pentacles is nurturing abundance made regal — the capacity to create security, comfort, and warmth, and to share it freely. She is practical and resourceful, equally at ease managing a household, a business, or a garden, grounding love in tangible care: the meal cooked, the debt covered, the body tended. Drawn upright she speaks of generosity, groundedness, and the sacred ordinariness of nurture, the ability to hold many people and responsibilities without losing her own rootedness. She is the working parent, the healer, the one whose love takes practical form. Her wealth is not hoarded but cultivated and given.
## Reversed
Reversed, the nurture loses its balance. The card can show self-neglect — a person so busy tending everyone else that they starve their own needs — or its inversion, smothering care and dependence disguised as love. It may point to materialism, work-life imbalance, or security-seeking that has crowded out the heart. Sometimes it marks the caretaker running on empty, resentment beneath the generosity, or a grounding gone to seed in comfort and possessiveness.
## Correspondence
| Attribute | Value |
| --- | --- |
| **Element** | Earth. As the Queen of the suit, this court card is the Water of Earth — the flowing, feeling, nurturing quality of water within stable earth, giving the suit its warmth, fertility, and emotional depth. |
## Archetype
The Queen of Pentacles is the Great Mother in her benevolent, fertile aspect, the nurturing ground of being that Jung saw at the root of the maternal archetype. She is the psyche's capacity to hold and nourish, to make the inner and outer world safe enough for growth. Her garden is a mandala of the tended soul, her care the earthed expression of the anima's love. She embodies the sacredness of matter — the same root as mater, mother — and reminds us that spiritual maturity includes the humble, bodily work of feeding and holding, a nurturing sovereignty kin to [The Empress](/knowledge/tarot/major-arcana/the-empress).
## Mythological Echoes
She is [Demeter](/knowledge/mythology/greek-mythology/demeter) in her fullness, the grain-mother whose love makes the fields bear, and Gaia, the living earth herself. She echoes Pomona of the orchards, the many-breasted Artemis of Ephesus, and the countless mother-goddesses across cultures whose abundance sustains the world. In her nurturing sovereignty she carries the ancient conviction that the earth is not dead matter but a generous, sentient mother, feeding all who are willing to be fed.
## In Practice
When this card appears, ground your love in practical care — and make sure some of that care flows to yourself. Nurture the tangible. Journal: where can my love take concrete form right now, and am I tending my own garden as faithfully as I tend everyone else's?
