# Unmastered Impulses

The debut. 13 tracks, almost entirely analog synthesizers. The title is literal: these are unmastered recordings, raw signal from the machines. The imperfection is the aesthetic.
|
|
|
|
This album was made during the year of my [bipolar diagnosis](/essays/2016-01-mentalhealtherror_an_exception_occurred). The music doesn't document the crisis directly, but the intensity is in there if you listen for it.
