Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes, 67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer. - scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault: slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion list plus a privacy guard. - tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note (capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other pages get a Related Knowledge block. - Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

## Domain
|
|
|
|
The First House is the doorway through which the whole chart is entered — the self as it arrives, before explanation, before apology. It governs identity in its most immediate form: the body you inhabit, the temperament you were born wearing, the mask that is not really a mask but the first true thing anyone sees of you. When someone walks into a room and something is decided about them in the space of a breath, that decision is being made about their First House.

|
This is the house of beginnings and of appearance, though appearance here means something deeper than looks. It is the shape your energy takes as it meets the world — your stride, your defaults, the way you say hello. The Ascendant that marks its cusp colors everything that follows, tinting the entire chart with a single, unmistakable hue. To understand the First House is to understand the difference between who you are and how you are seen, and to notice how often the two conspire to become the same.

## On the Wheel

The First House is angular, and angular houses are where things happen — they are the four cardinal pressure points of the chart, initiating rather than sustaining or releasing. Its cusp is the Ascendant, the eastern horizon at the moment of birth, the exact point where the sky was rising as you took your first breath. Of all the angles, this is the most personal, because it is quite literally the point of your arrival. Everything the chart will go on to say begins here, at the edge of the horizon, where the individual first becomes visible against the dawn.
