kennethreitz ce93f429a2 Add Knowledge: the vault's reference shelf, crosslinked across the site
Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes,
67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer.

- scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault:
slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site
links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables
rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion
  list plus a privacy guard.
- tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and
aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note
(capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages
list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other
pages get a Related Knowledge block.
- Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never
displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid
diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

# Selenite
> *Moonlight given a body to stand in.*
---
## The Stone
Selenite is gypsum grown into translucent white columns and blades that seem lit from within, striated along their length so that light travels down them like water down a reed. Its name comes from Selene, the Greek moon, and the association is apt — the stone has the pale, luminous quality of moonlight made solid. It is remarkably soft, easily scratched by a fingernail, and it dissolves in water, which lends it a certain fragile purity; this is not a stone hardened against the world.
Wands, towers, and rough plates of Selenite have become fixtures of the modern altar, and for good reason. Few stones so immediately suggest cleanliness of feeling — a swept room, an open window, air that has just moved.
## Correspondences
| Attribute | Value |
|-----------|-------|
| Colour | Translucent white |
| Chakra | Crown ([Sahasrara](/knowledge/chakras/sahasrara)) |
| Element | Air |
| Planet / Zodiac | Moon / Taurus |
| Hardness (Mohs) | 2 (very soft) |
## Properties
Selenite carries one of the highest, finest vibrations in the mineral kingdom, and its great office is cleansing. It clears stagnant or heavy energy from a person, a space, or another stone, and it is one of the few crystals said to charge and purify others without ever needing to be cleansed itself. Reaching to the [crown](/knowledge/chakras/sahasrara), it opens a channel upward — to clarity, to stillness, to whatever one understands as the higher self — and lends mental peace to a crowded mind.
## In Practice
A Selenite wand is swept slowly through the aura to comb out heaviness, and a plate or slab is used as a charging station on which other crystals rest overnight to be renewed. Placed on a windowsill it keeps a room’s atmosphere light. Because it dissolves, it must never be cleansed in water — moonlight, sound, or simply its own nature keep it clear.
