Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes,
67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer.

- scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault:
slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site
links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables
rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion
  list plus a privacy guard.
- tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and
aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note
(capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages
list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other
pages get a Related Knowledge block.
- Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never
displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid
diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

Cube

The stone that stays where it is set — form at rest, the world made solid.

The Form

The cube, or hexahedron, is built from six identical squares meeting three at each corner. Of the five Platonic solids it is the one whose form is most familiar and most reassuring, the shape of dice and bricks and rooms, the geometry the hand already knows. Its faces are flat, its angles right, its whole bearing one of stillness and repose. Alone among the solids it tiles space completely, stacking without gap into an endless lattice, which is why it reads as the natural unit of building and measure.

The cube is the dual of the octahedron: set a point at the center of each of its six faces and connect them, and an octahedron emerges within. This pairing of the seated Earth-form with the mobile Air-form is one of sacred geometry's quiet elegances, matter and breath folded into a single reciprocal figure. The square face itself, with its four equal sides, has long stood for the four directions, the four winds, the fourfold order of the manifest world.

Meaning

Plato gave the cube to Earth, and the assignment fits its character exactly. Earth is the element of solidity, permanence, and rest, the ground on which the other elements play, and the cube is the most grounded of the bodies, the one least inclined to roll or move. In Alchemy Earth is the fixed principle, the salt that remains when the volatile has fled, the body that receives and holds. The cube is therefore the geometry of foundation and law, of the reliable and the enduring. To dwell on it is to contemplate stability itself, the sense that beneath all flux there is a squared and steady floor.
