Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes, 67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer. - scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault: slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion list plus a privacy guard. - tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note (capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other pages get a Related Knowledge block. - Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

## Essence
|
|
|
|
Mars is the principle of drive — the raw will to act, to want, to assert oneself against the resistance of the world. It governs desire in its most direct form: appetite, aggression, courage, the heat that turns intention into motion. Where Venus draws things together, Mars cuts them apart, and both are necessary. Mars is the muscle of the self, the capacity to say *no*, to fight for what matters, to survive.

Like the war-god [Ares](/knowledge/mythology/greek-mythology/ares), Mars can be brutal when it forgets its purpose, but at its truest it is not cruelty — it is the honest force of a being that intends to live fully. It rules Aries, where its fire is pure initiative, and in the older tradition Scorpio, where the same drive runs deep and strategic. Mars asks whether a person can want without apology and act without waiting for permission. It is the courage to begin, and the endurance to see a conflict through.
