Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes,
67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer.

- scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault:
slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site
links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables
rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion
  list plus a privacy guard.
- tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and
aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note
(capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages
list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other
pages get a Related Knowledge block.
- Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never
displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid
diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

Sahasrara · Crown

The drop does not vanish when it reaches the sea — it remembers it was always water.

Essence

Sahasrara rests at the crown of the head, and its name means “thousand-petalled” — the lotus of a thousand petals that opens, in the yogic image, not inward but upward and outward, past the boundary of the individual self entirely. This is less a centre than a threshold: the place where the ascending journey of Kundalini completes itself and Shakti, the coiled energy that slept at the root, is reunited with Shiva, pure consciousness, in a union that dissolves the very distinction between them. Its province is not a dimension of life but the ground of all dimensions — awareness itself, unconditioned, the silent witness behind every experience the lower centres have known.

The element here is consciousness or pure thought, and the crown’s bija is no sound at all but the silence at the end of OM — the resonance that continues, unstruck and unbounded, after all utterance ceases. To awaken Sahasrara is to know oneself, at last, not as the wave but as the ocean; not as the drop that fell, but as the water that was never anything else. This is the Vedantic recognition that the individual self and the absolute were never two.

Balanced & Blocked

An open Sahasrara feels like a spaciousness that no longer belongs to the person having it — peace without cause, a sense of connection to something vast and impersonal, meaning that needs no defending, the quiet certainty of belonging to the whole. When the centre is closed, existence flattens: a pervasive meaninglessness, spiritual cynicism, the ache of separation that all the accomplishments of the lower centres cannot touch. When it is reached for prematurely or clung to, the danger reverses — a spiritual bypassing that floats above the unfinished work of the body and heart, transcendence used as an escape rather than a fruition. The teaching is that the crown opens last, and only when the six centres beneath it have been honoured in their turn; wholeness is earned from the ground up.
