kennethreitz ce93f429a2 Add Knowledge: the vault's reference shelf, crosslinked across the site
Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes,
67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer.

- scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault:
slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site
links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables
rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion
  list plus a privacy guard.
- tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and
aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note
(capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages
list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other
pages get a Related Knowledge block.
- Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never
displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid
diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

# Trailheads

## Where the Trails Start
A trailhead, in [Internal Family Systems](/knowledge/psychology/internal-family-systems), is any moment of experience that — if followed — leads to a part. The name is exact: it marks the start of a trail, not the destination. Schwartz's insight was that the psyche is constantly posting these markers, and that what most of us call our flaws are actually our best directions. The classic trailheads: an overreaction wildly out of scale with its trigger; a phrase that repeats in the inner monologue for years (*you always ruin it, don't get your hopes up*); a recurring dream; a somatic flare — the chest that tightens in meetings, the stomach that drops at a particular tone of voice; a pattern that survives every resolution to break it. Each one is a part waving. The size of the reaction measures the size of what the part is carrying, not the size of the trigger.
Following a trailhead means turning toward it instead of past it — finding where the reaction lives in the body, asking who is there, and proceeding with the curiosity the [Six Fs](/knowledge/psychology/internal-family-systems/the-six-fs) structure. The alternative, which everyone practices by default, is to treat trailheads as noise: apologize for the outburst, shake off the dream, medicate the stomach, and walk briskly away from the trail. The parts are patient. The marker will be reposted.

## The Trailhead Journal
Because trailheads appear in the middle of life — mid-argument, mid-commute, three seconds after waking — IFS practice often includes a trailhead journal: a running log of the moments worth returning to. Not analysis, just capture. *Tuesday: disproportionate rage at a slow website. Chest, not head.* The journal separates noticing from working; you flag the trail when it appears and walk it later, when there is time to do it well. Over weeks the log starts revealing the system's geography — the same parts flagging the same territory from different angles.
This vault already does this, and did it before any manual suggested it. The Dream Logs are trailhead capture in nearly pure form — recurring imagery logged verbatim, dated, kept. The Daily notes catch the mid-life flares. System 777's whole documentation practice is, among other things, a trailhead journal at scale: the discipline of writing down what happened *as it happened* so the trail is still findable later. That resonance is worth noticing without being turned into a program — the practice was already here.
