Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes,
67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer.

- scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault:
slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site
links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables
rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion
  list plus a privacy guard.
- tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and
aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note
(capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages
list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other
pages get a Related Knowledge block.
- Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never
displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid
diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

Platonic Solids

Five perfect bodies, and no sixth — the alphabet from which the cosmos spells itself.

The Form

The Platonic solids are the only five three-dimensional shapes in which every face is the same regular polygon, every edge the same length, and every vertex the meeting of the same number of faces. That there are precisely five — no fewer, no more — is not an aesthetic preference but a theorem, one of the oldest and most beautiful results in geometry. The tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, icosahedron, and dodecahedron exhaust the possibilities of perfect symmetry in space, and the ancients felt the finality of that number as something close to revelation.

Plato, in the Timaeus, took the further step that gives the solids their name and their enduring mystique. He assigned four of them to the four classical elements and reserved the fifth for the whole. The pieces are interlocking: the octahedron sits inside the cube, the icosahedron and dodecahedron are duals of one another, and the tetrahedron is its own dual. The set is a closed system, a finite grammar for building the material world out of pure form.

Meaning

To Plato the solids were the atoms of reality, the shapes into which the elements resolve when perception is stripped away. This is why sacred geometry treats them as more than mathematical curiosities: they are the claim that matter itself is crystallized number, that the visible world rests on invisible order. The tradition of Alchemy inherits this conviction directly, seeing in the transformation of elements a rearrangement of underlying form. The five bodies together suggest that creation is not chaotic but bounded, generous, and complete.
