Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes,
67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer.

- scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault:
slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site
links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables
rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion
  list plus a privacy guard.
- tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and
aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note
(capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages
list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other
pages get a Related Knowledge block.
- Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never
displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid
diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

# Six of Wands
> *The crowd is loud, the laurel is fresh — and still, somewhere beneath the wreath, a quieter question waits.*
---
## Imagery
A rider on a white horse advances through a crowd, a laurel wreath crowning his head and a second wreath fixed to the wand he carries upright. Five other wands are raised around him by figures on foot, their staves lifted in salute. His posture is upright and composed, the horse draped in ornamental cloth. The palette is warm and triumphal. The composition centres the victor and lets the crowd frame him, so the eye reads acclaim and procession at once. The feeling is public honour — the parade home after the contest of the Five has been won.
## Upright
The Six of Wands is victory, recognition, the well-earned applause. Where the Five was scattered strife, the Six resolves it in triumph: the goal is reached, the effort acknowledged, the self borne aloft by the esteem of others. It speaks of leadership confirmed, of confidence justified by result, of the sweet arrival at the top of a hard climb. Yet it also asks something of the winner — to receive praise gracefully without being captured by it. The invitation is to let success nourish rather than define you.
## Reversed
Reversed, the laurel wilts. Recognition fails to arrive, or arrives and proves hollow; private doubt gnaws beneath public success. It can mark the fear of falling from the horse, the exhaustion of needing perpetual applause, or a victory that feels unearned. The shadow is the ego that has come to require the crowd — triumph curdling into vanity, or the sting of being overlooked after genuine effort.
## Correspondence
| Attribute | Value |
| --- | --- |
| **Element** | Fire. |
| **Decan** | Jupiter in Leo, the second decan of Leo — Jupiter's expansive fortune amplifying Leo's regal fire. The Golden Dawn titled this card Victory: success, gain, the reward of striving. |
## Archetype
Here is the hero at the moment of triumphal return, the point in the monomyth where the boon is won and the community gathers to receive it. Jung would caution that this is precisely where inflation threatens — the ego mistaking the crowd's projection for its own worth. Handled well, the honour of [The Sun](/knowledge/tarot/major-arcana/the-sun) and the turning good fortune of [Wheel of Fortune](/knowledge/tarot/major-arcana/wheel-of-fortune) are integrated humbly; handled poorly, the victor is possessed by his persona and forgets the self beneath the wreath.
## Mythological Echoes
The card is the Roman triumph made image — the general processing through the city, laurel-crowned, while a slave whispers that he too is mortal. It carries the return of every victorious hero, the Olympic victor crowned with wild olive, the acclaim that lifts a man and, if he is unwary, lifts him too high.
## In Practice
When this card appears, savour the win, but watch the appetite it feeds. Ask whose approval you are truly seeking, and whether the victory would still satisfy in silence. Real triumph can hold its head high without the parade.
