Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes, 67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer. - scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault: slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion list plus a privacy guard. - tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note (capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other pages get a Related Knowledge block. - Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

Let it fall through you and into the ground.
The Stone
Smoky Quartz is clear quartz that has passed through fire and radiation and come out the colour of woodsmoke — a translucent brown-grey that shades from the faintest tint to a near-black depth, its crystal structure still visible like weather seen through tinted glass. Natural specimens owe their colour to aluminium impurities gently irradiated over geological time. Held to the light it glows a warm sepia; laid in the palm it feels solid and unhurried, a stone with both feet on the earth.
Where Clear Quartz reaches upward toward light, Smoky Quartz turns downward toward ground. It is the same mineral wearing the colour of soil and shadow, and it carries that quality with it: steady, protective, entirely unromantic in the best way.

Properties
Smoky Quartz is a premier grounding stone, anchoring scattered energy back into the body and the root. Its signature gift is release — it draws off fear, stress, resentment, and the low-grade static of a mind that will not settle, then channels that heaviness down and out, the way a lightning rod hands a charge to the earth. It offers a calm, absorbing protection, transmuting negativity rather than merely repelling it, and it steadies those prone to anxiety or overwhelm.
In Practice
Held in each hand or placed at the feet during meditation, Smoky Quartz pulls the mind out of the clouds and back into the body. It is carried through anxious days as a quiet ballast and placed near the entrance of a home to absorb what should not come further in. Because it takes on so much, cleanse it regularly — running water and sunlight both serve it well.
