Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes, 67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer. - scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault: slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion list plus a privacy guard. - tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note (capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other pages get a Related Knowledge block. - Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

# Double Paradiddle

## The Rudiment
The double paradiddle expands the single paradiddle by adding one more pair of alternating singles before the diddle. Where the single paradiddle is four notes, this is six — "para-para-diddle" — which makes it fit naturally into triplet and 6/8 feels. Like its parent, it flips the lead hand each time it repeats, so it distributes accents around the kit while riding a compound-time pulse. It is the go-to paradiddle for anything with a triplet subdivision.
## Sticking
The standard sticking is **RLRLRR LRLRLL**, with an accent on the first note of each group. The right-lead half ends on a right double (RR), setting up the left-lead half, so the accent alternates hands every six notes. Counted as sixteenth-note triplets or as eighth notes in 6/8, one double paradiddle fills a beat with the accent on the pulse.

## How to Play
Drive the accented first note, keep the four following singles low and even, then let the closing double rebound cleanly. Because there are four taps before the diddle, evenness across the singles matters more than in the single paradiddle — any limp between hands shows up quickly. Keep the accent bright against quiet taps so the six-note cell has shape rather than sounding like flat triplets.

## In Practice
The double paradiddle shines in shuffles, jazz, waltzes, and any triplet-based groove or fill where a repeating accent needs to travel across the kit. It sits between the [Single Paradiddle](/knowledge/music/drum-rudiments/single-paradiddle) and [Triple Paradiddle](/knowledge/music/drum-rudiments/triple-paradiddle) and shares its diddle DNA with the [Single Paradiddle-Diddle](/knowledge/music/drum-rudiments/single-paradiddle-diddle).
