kennethreitz ce93f429a2 Add Knowledge: the vault's reference shelf, crosslinked across the site
Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes,
67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer.

- scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault:
slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site
links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables
rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion
  list plus a privacy guard.
- tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and
aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note
(capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages
list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other
pages get a Related Knowledge block.
- Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never
displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid
diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

Music

Twenty-plus years of it — the craft beneath the rest of the work.

Music is the oldest of Kenneth's disciplines and the one the others borrow their vocabulary from — cadence, structure, patience. This domain is the reference side of that practice: the technical and expressive building blocks, kept the way the Tarot and Astrology collections are kept. The lived side — the bands, the kit, the releases — lives in Music Background.

Collections

Drum Rudiments — the forty essential patterns of the snare, the alphabet of stickings from the single-stroke roll to the triple ratamacue. The vocabulary of every fill and groove.

Musical Keys — the twenty-four keys and their affective characteristics, drawn from Schubart's 1806 catalogue of what each key was once understood to mean, back when unequal temperament gave every key its own colour.

Scales & Modes — the seven diatonic modes and the core scales beyond them, the raw material of melody and the tonal worlds a piece can live in.

Chords & Progressions — notes stacked into chords and strung into progressions: the working grammar of harmony, from the three-chord backbone to the jazz cadence.

  • Music Background — the lived history: percussion, electronic production, Infinite State
  • pytheory — the music-theory library, the same ideas in code
  • Cadence — why rhythm matters more than comprehension
