Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes, 67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer. - scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault: slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion list plus a privacy guard. - tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note (capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other pages get a Related Knowledge block. - Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

## Essence
|
|
|
|
One is the spark of individuation — the moment the undivided whole draws its first line and declares, *here I begin*. It is unity in the active sense: not the wholeness of zero at rest, but the single point of will that gathers itself and moves. Where zero contained everything, one chooses something. It is the seed cracking, the leader stepping forward, the pioneer who walks where no path exists yet.

|
The energy of one is initiative, independence, and the raw courage of a first cause. It carries the heat of the Sun, radiant and self-originating, a source rather than a reflection. In [Numerology](/knowledge/numerology) the number one belongs to those who must forge their own way, who feel the pull to originate rather than inherit, and who understand that every creation begins with a solitary act of nerve.

At its best, one is [The Magician](/knowledge/tarot/major-arcana/the-magician) with all four elements arranged upon the table — the will that focuses scattered potential into a single directed act, the leader who lights the way for others simply by daring to move first. It gives us self-reliance and the creative authority to say *let there be*. Its shadow, though, is the ego that mistakes independence for supremacy: the tyrant who cannot share the stage, the lone figure so convinced of his singularity that he severs every tie and stands, in the end, gloriously and terribly alone.
