Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes, 67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer. - scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault: slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion list plus a privacy guard. - tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note (capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other pages get a Related Knowledge block. - Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

## Essence
|
|
|
|
Nine is the number of completion, the last of the single digits and the one that contains them all. Having passed through initiative, union, creation, structure, freedom, love, wisdom, and power, the soul arrives at nine with everything gathered — and learns at last to give it away. This is the humanitarian's number, the sage who has lived enough to hold the whole of human experience with compassion rather than judgment. It is the number of endings that are also fulfillments.

|
Its energy is paradoxical: ruled by Mars, it carries the warrior's fire, yet turns that fire toward service rather than conquest. Nine fights for the many, not the one. In [Numerology](/knowledge/numerology) it belongs to the old soul, the healer, the tolerant heart that has outgrown pettiness and sees, in every stranger, a kindred fragment of the same great story. To embody nine is to love the world impersonally and completely, and to release what one has finished so that something new may begin.

## Light & Shadow

At its most luminous, nine is [The Hermit](/knowledge/tarot/major-arcana/the-hermit) upon the mountaintop, lantern raised — the wisdom that, having climbed, turns to light the way for those still ascending. It gives us compassion without condition, the grace to forgive, and the strength to complete and release. Yet its shadow clings: the idealist embittered when the world falls short of the dream, the giver who becomes a martyr to a cause, the soul that cannot let the ending end. Completion refused curdles into grief; the closed circle must open to become the next.
