Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes,
67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer.

- scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault:
slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site
links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables
rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion
  list plus a privacy guard.
- tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and
aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note
(capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages
list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other
pages get a Related Knowledge block.
- Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never
displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid
diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

> *The trumpet does not accuse; it only calls you by the name you had forgotten was yours.*

## Imagery
An angel — Gabriel — leans from the clouds and blows a great trumpet from which hangs a red cross on a white banner. Below, grey figures rise naked from open coffins that float on a wide sea: a man, a woman, and a child, arms lifted, faces turned upward in wonder. The dead are waking. Their gesture is not fear but recognition, as though they have heard something they always knew was coming. Snow-capped mountains stand in the distance. After the daylight of [The Sun](/knowledge/tarot/major-arcana/the-sun), the card is a summons — the moment of awakening, reckoning, and rebirth into a larger life.
## Upright
Judgement is awakening, reckoning, and the call to rise into a truer self. It is the trumpet-blast that ends one whole phase of the journey and summons the soul to answer for it — not with condemnation but with honest self-appraisal and renewal. Upright, the card counsels the willingness to hear the call, to forgive and be forgiven, to rise from the coffin of an old life. To draw it is to be told that a moment of vocation or absolution has come: something in you is being called by name, and asked to answer it fully.
## Reversed
Reversed, the call goes unheard. The card can mean self-doubt, a refusal of the summons, or the inability to forgive oneself and move on. Inverted, it may reveal a person clinging to the coffin, deaf to the trumpet, trapped in old guilt or old identity — or one who judges harshly where mercy is needed. It marks the threshold where one either rises to the awakening or lies back down and pretends not to have heard it.
## Correspondence

| **Element** | Fire, the purifying flame of the last awakening. |
| **Hebrew letter** | Shin: ש, the three-tongued fire, the letter of spirit. |
| **Tree of Life path** | Path 31, joining Hod to Malkuth, splendour to the kingdom. |
## Archetype
Judgement is the archetype of rebirth and vocation — the psyche’s call to answer for its whole life and be made new by the answering. In [Individuation](/knowledge/psychology/jungian/individuation) it is the penultimate integration, the moment the self hears the summons of [The Self](/knowledge/psychology/jungian/the-self) and rises to meet it consciously and completely. Jung understood true awakening not as a verdict imposed from outside but as an inner recognition — the deep self calling the ego to account and, in the same breath, to resurrection. The dead rise because they finally recognise their own name.
## Mythological Echoes
It is the Last Trump of Revelation, the resurrection of the dead at the world’s renewal; the day of judgement common to the Abrahamic faiths. It echoes the raising of the dead across mythology, the god who descends and returns bringing others up with him, the awakening from the long sleep. The trumpet is the primordial sound, the word that calls the sleeping world back to life — the summons every soul is said to hear at the appointed hour.
## In Practice
When Judgement appears, the reading turns toward awakening, reckoning, and the call to a larger life. Journalling prompt: what is calling you that you keep pretending not to hear? What old version of yourself is ready to be laid down, and what would it take to rise up and answer to your real name?
