Publish the Obsidian vault's Knowledge folder as /knowledge (881 notes, 67 folders), with a Knowledge item in the nav and footer. - scripts/import_knowledge.py regenerates data/knowledge from the vault: slugged paths, folder notes as index pages, wikilinks resolved to site links (or plain text), callouts, highlights, and Dataview tables rendered statically. Personal notes are withheld via an exclusion list plus a privacy guard. - tuftecms/core/knowledge.py builds a concept index from note titles and aliases. First mentions on ordinary pages link to their Knowledge note (capped, never in headings, code, links, or sidenotes); Knowledge pages list related notes and where they're mentioned across the site; other pages get a Related Knowledge block. - Knowledge URLs join sitemap.xml (so the sweep test covers them), never displace existing legacy slugs, list alphabetically, and mermaid diagrams render client-side only on pages that have them.

## Imagery
A naked woman kneels at the edge of a still pool, one foot resting on the water’s surface, one knee on the land. She holds two vessels, pouring water from one back into the pool and from the other onto the earth, where it branches into five streams. Above her a great eight-pointed star blazes, surrounded by seven smaller stars. A bird — the ibis of thought — perches in a tree behind her. The night is calm and clear. After the shattering of [The Tower](/knowledge/tarot/major-arcana/the-tower), everything here is quiet, open, and unashamed: hope in its most undefended form, the soul washing itself clean beneath a serene sky.
## Upright
The Star is hope, renewal, and serene faith after devastation. It is the calm that follows catastrophe, the deep replenishment of a spirit that has survived the lightning and been made honest by it. Upright, the card counsels trust, healing, and the gentle re-opening of the heart — the nakedness of one who has nothing left to hide. To draw it is to be told that the worst has passed, that inspiration and grace are flowing again, and that you may safely pour yourself out and be refilled.
## Reversed
Reversed, the light seems distant. The card can mean discouragement, faithlessness, or a hope one cannot quite reach — the star still shining, but behind cloud. Inverted, it may reveal despair after loss, a well of inspiration run dry, or a self-doubt that dims the natural radiance. It rarely means the star has gone out; more often it means the eyes have turned from it, and asks you to look up again.

## Archetype
The Star is the archetype of hope as a structuring force of the psyche — the guiding light that reorients the self after the collapse of the false. Following the Tower’s destruction of the inflated ego, the Star is the first clear glimpse of [The Self](/knowledge/psychology/jungian/the-self) as an authentic centre, felt as calm, trust, and renewed connection to something larger. Jung saw such images of serene, star-lit water as symbols of the unconscious made benevolent, the deep restored to its healing aspect. It is the promise that survives the night.
## Mythological Echoes
She echoes the water-pouring goddesses and the celestial guides — the star of the East that led the seekers, the pole star by which the lost find their way home. She recalls Nut, the Egyptian sky arched with stars over the sleeping earth, and the many myths of the goddess who tends the waters of life. Every tradition that finds hope written in the night sky, that reads the stars as a promise rather than a threat, keeps her kneeling at the pool.

## In Practice
When the Star appears, the reading turns toward hope, healing, and quiet renewal. Journalling prompt: what has survived in you after everything that fell away? Where can you afford to be undefended now, to pour yourself out and trust that you will be refilled? Look up — what light have you stopped letting yourself see?
